Greyhound... Now with Air Freshener.
I swear its in the latest TV commercial. Attention Greyhound:
stop being a BUS company and be the nationwide transportation
company. Integrate bus/air/train. Flatrate USA $99.
The porn sites again
I decided a couple days ago to get the
Society-of-Incredible-Nerds.com
website back on the Internet. This was precipitated by my
deteriorating financial condition, and the sudden willingness of
my GF to let me use her videos. Actually, she has her own site
Size-Doesnt-Matter.com
which is included under the same subscription.
If you are a horndog like me, i think you will enjoy it.
The NERDS is intended to grow into an actual social club, i have
mentioned it to a few Disco owners here in vegas, and we will
have things like free passes and drink TWOFERS for our members.

Loving Love
Sunday night i finally got a chance to see the Cirqe de Sole'
show "LOVE" which plays in the space where the Sigriied and Roy
show used to be.
The Room has been completely re-done, seats are highly raked,
we sat at a very high elevation, giving us a great view of the
entire theatre.
The music is re-mixed Beatles Songs and a few outtakes of
chatter among the fab four. The actors are accomplished
preformers/dancers/acrobats, but the real star of the show is
the lavish production staging.
If you think your dreams are colorful, multiply that tenfold
and you will get a small idea.
The
show is like a great
Peter
MAX POSTER
magnified a million times and come to life.
Even though our seats were 80 feet from the center of the
stage, our visual field was constantly filled with spectacle.
The story line, told in dance, is a man's quest for love, a
bouquet of flowers representing his desire.
The only complaint about the show was that it was over too
soon. Las vegas shows tend to be 90 minutes in length, and LOVE
is typical in that respect. That an hour and a half can go by so
quickly speaks to the great entertainment value of the show.
If you are a Beatles fan, it's a must see. If you are not,
you will probably enjoy it anyhow.

Beacher's RockHouse
Woke up very late, about 1:30 kinda rushed out the door, did
a very brief visit to JET. Eddie, who DJ's in the house room, is
famious for his great T-shirts. He had a huge orange circle with
an E on it, it was the official logo of the E-train, a main NYC
subway route.
it was almost 3 when i got to PURE, there was still a line,
but it was new arrivals, not ppl that started queuing up at 10 (i
hope.)
I left PURE early to see the new BEACHER'S ROCKHOUSE, which had
its grand opening party last Tuesday:

The Vegas Edition of the Paris Hilton CD Release Party Started
in the Beacher's RockHouse Grand Opening street fair.
I started at the street fair also, but walked across the
street (at the light) to PURE after Paris' brief appearance, so
my only look at the inside was pre-opening.
Last night i got my first look at the joint in action. I always Loved that
little venue, in front of the IMPERIAL PALACE. It used to be a
walk-in bar and taco place, with DJ at night, and lately
karaoke. Beacher has transformed it into, i started to say
three ring circus, which it is, but it's all squeezed into
a half-ring.
Inside is verything a drunk tourist could possibly want to see, and
do, and more: booze, a mechanical bull, acrobats, go go girls. Oh, i
said girls, no need to continue. *laugh*
The publicity for
the event was the best i have ever seen done in vegas. Tickets
were posted online and very well advertised, you had to give up an email address to get
them.

Paris Hilton Touches Me. TWICE
Last night was the Release Party for
Paris Hilton's New CD at PURE in Caesars Palace, here in
vegas.
Prior to that, a block party on the other side of the strip,
a favor for a friend, she says, to mark the opening of BEACHER'S
MADHOUSE in front of the Imperial Palace. Even Oscar
Goodman, who is the mayor of las vegas (which does not
technically include the strip) proclaimed August 29th PARIS
HILTON DAY.

Paris Hilton -- Ultra Violet Number 4 of an infinite series.
So she is standing in the VIP stage booth, right next to the DJ,
and fans are dancing below her (the stage is about 4 ft high
with a perspex fence to keep ppl from putting their drinks on
celeb's feet) I was dancing away as my normal crazy self,
about 3 ft in front of the stage 4 or 5 hot ladies were dancing
around me, and were waving their hands in the air, when Paris
started touching them. Almost instantly half the audience was
pressing the stage and reaching out their hands to her. At
first, i kept my hands dancing, but it would have been rude (not
to mention really dumb) not to participate, so she briefly and
gently held my
hand.
Detail of #7 in this series
Aura-CAM
The image above is my first attempt to convey the
feeling of Paris Hilton. Soft, warm, assured. OK i have never kissed the pope's ring,
but that's what i think it was like. Eastern religions
have a concept called DARSHAM, a state of being caused by being
in the presence of god. Yeah, i had that. Me and a couple
hundred starstruck 20-somethings.
You may be surprised to learn that Ms Hilton's biggest fans
are girls. CTL says its
probably because she "has everything a girl wants." He
has had the hots for her since the DVD came out, but XMZ
finally determined it was because she was the first actually hot
girl that had more money than him. Of course he denies this. I
was totally amazed by her body of work, visit IMDB and look at
her credits. She says the income from her fashion lines was
$7Megabucks last year. Those who dismiss Paris Hilton,
failed to see much of her brand, because her target market had
been under their radar. Now i understand the way-too-skinney
arms, she is role modeling for them.
Then another similar opportunity a little later. TWICE, and
on only the third time i have ever been in the same venue with
her. Some time after that, Paris Started singing some tracks
from her new album. OMG she is really good! A sweet bell-clear
yet breathy voice, Paris Hilton's voice reminds me of the 60's
vocal goddess
Julie London. (The amazon site has snippets of all the
tracks, if you want to hear a sample of Julie singing.)
The material, however, was not Julie London at all,
Paris's CD is Superbly perfect Disco (although the line
between POP and disco these days is VERY thin) that had me
dancing up another little gaggle of ladies, apparently this
caught her eye, she directed her presence toward us
throughout most of the numbers.
Ms. Hilton dances and poses as if She has been taking hottie
lessons, but only a zen master can teach the serenity you see on
her face here.

I fail to understand why our media pussyfoot

"Trafficing, Human Trafficking. No matter how softly you say
it, the fundamentalist pimps of the world work the same way:

APPLE ITUNES Customer SUPPORT REALLY, REALLY, really SUCKS.
The 800 number on my credit card bill is just a recording. It
says visit the website. And gives you a URL two directories
deep. At which point you can't find doodley.
Zero help from the one operator i DID contact after searching
the site a half hour or so for a phone number
Well ill just submit my problem through my credit card
company and let them spend $100s of people time responding and
resolving what should have been a 10 minute call.
More proof of how BEAN COUNTERS SPOIL THE SOUP
UPDATE 7:PM IT TURNS OUT IT WAS THE xmz THAT USED THE CARD
(HERS, BTW) GREAT.
TOO BAD I DIDN'T GET AN OPERATOR TO HELP STRAIGHTEN IT OUT
FROM THE GITGO.
Now my poor credit card company needs to mail a new card, and
i have no cash machine access for my midnight money needs.
Well, when the paperwork comes in the mail, i will let them
put the charge back on my account. Until then ill just use
i-TUNES's money for a while.
update Tuesday AM. was able to call bank and cancel the
refusal, so itunes has their $19.95 (for one song XMZ tells me,
what a ripoff)
so now i just have to suffer waiting for the replacement
card, which is not THAT big a deal.
my capslock key was on in the middle if this.

POLE-A-PALOOZA 2006
I figured out why Pole-A-Palooza is such a pleasure to watch,
its a GRAVITY game. I hope i have captured the movement as well
as the moment in this new gallery. Too bad millions of guys were
not paying 49 cents to vote for the winner. But, hey that's me,
looking for another little trickle of pennies.
The SONY T-9 (there's a T-10 already, same form factor, all
accessories should work, etc.) has a fine video mode that makes
an MPEG2 640 X 480 NTSC stream. A gigabyte memory stick holds 12
minutes.
Spent yesterday afternoon and evening going frame by frame
and picking out stills from the.. um.. hmm i can't call it
footage, there is no film or tape... How about GIGAGE.
This morning started adding a couple descriptions, and creating
the galleries. It all posted about 2 pm.

I think the problem that created the tiny images was that it
printed the preview window. So this time i undocked it and
viewed at full 640 X 480. sure enough, i got 640 X 480 JPEGs.
The total runtime of the one full plus 1 less than half full memory sticks was
over 15 minutes.
I was not at all happy with the autofocus on the SONY T-9 i will
have to experiment with presetting or something. Since zoom is
disabled after you start recording, the zoom buttons
become available for duty as manual focus input. A pure firmware
change.
A lot of interlace and other artifacts that surprised
me, for example, The little burst of winks from redeye reduction
and burst-shooting high end cameras gave little strobe trails.
I imagine the effective "shutter speed" to be about 1/60. there
appears to be a lot of blanking, though how much would it take
to miss a strobe pulse. The cells may not blank at all until
read time, which would make the exposure 1/30th, but read out
interlaced.
The big bursts from the Pro Strobes could give a one fram
pattern retention of highlight areas. You can see who had a good
eye for peak action by when their strobes went off. It
helped the struggling autofocus circuits in the cam, but i
didn't use any of the fully strobelit shots. HIS (or her, you
should see the hot lady photographer, oh, here:

I think i have seen her in the clubs getting celebs posing with other celebs, etc. She
seems immune to my dancing moves. Bet then, i have only seen her
"on the clock." [2006/08/30 Girls are "on the clock"
when: 1. A baby needs attention 2. they are newly married. 3.
they are working. A friend, the
coffee guy has 8 girls and they
just fresh-roast and ship hundreds of pounds of coffee every
day. As long as noone is around hitting on them.
If you guys would all join the nerds, we could hire her to
follow me around making pictures.
*******
these guys crack me

Pole-A-Palooza 2006
This show was so hot i won't need VIAGRA for a week.
...zeke
Real pole dancers are the hottest females since ballerinas.

Strong women, but not muscular like female body builders. In
ballet, girls start working a horizontal pole called a BAR. The
exercises are somewhat difficult at first as they stretch and
tone the muscles. The resulting body is muscular, yet sculpted
with Renoir's curves. The teachers stress grace and flow, hours
can be spent on the precise curl of one finger.
Here is a site full
of great Ballerinas.
In this morning's pole dancing competion, the $10,000 prize
went to Jenyne Wilson, a very beautiful lady and gymnast. There
were other dancers as strong and as graceful, but none of them
had her smile!Congratulations, you
earned it.
I took several thousand photos of the event, ill start
looking for a needle in a needle stack and get the best of them
uplinked to my server.
Lots of old faces (and no names, of course... i need a little
mouse in my hat, like in the book "Ben and Me." THere's a role
model... BEN FRANKLIN. The printing press was the Internet of
its day, and POOR RICHARD'S ALMANAC was that century's GOOGLE.
I guess i have other things in common with good old Ben, we
apparently share a love of beautiful women, as well as a respect
for the anti-sexual powers of drink. "Alcohol doth Lechery both
Provoke and Unprovoke... It provoketh the desire, but
unprovoketh the ability" ....Ben Franklin
I am sure ben would have enjoyed the heck out of the
festivities at light. If he is in the heaven he deserves, i hope
he took some time out from his catch of the day to look in.
A surprise ending:
A perfectly packed (pulse) parcel of photons propagates,
perhaps preventing panic. Incoherent streaming signals from a
strategically stationed strobe light in the fire alarm system.
Fast risetimes cast wavefront shadow on CMOS sensors.

apparently the show was so hot it set off
the fire alarm in the BELLAGIO hotel and we all streamed out
about 4 AM.

Bean Counters Spoil the Soup
IM chat Interview for the book
Disco Legend Zeke: did you know cell carriers intentionally introduce
jitter into all packets to prevent VOIP from working!!! who will
be the first to open up their $75 a month ports... and push
their own IP [will be the winner, because their store will be full
of high end dual/modem pure IP terminals. with YAHOO VOICE running over it.
World's Greatest Programmer: T-Mobile's currently testing VOIP phones.
DLZ: corporations don't understand open community.
WGP: The idea being you roam from t-mobile hotspots to the
cellular network seamlessly.
DLZ: well there are already TCP-ip headsets.
DLZ: T-mobile is the most likely to "GET IT"
DLZ: and making it all IP flattens the network model into a
cloud [the network is invisible to the device, in schematic drawings
it's depicted as a big fluffy cloud]
and straws or pipes. This is a very efficient method of building
a network... costs go way down. [but the bean counters are
afraid of a NET NEUTRAL model because they are already seeing lost sales of the old connection based business model.]
AT&T killing their copy of Zeke's wireless
Internet at the beginning of the millennium,
AT&T, yes the one that had to get acquired just to pick up the
last mile, had perfected the point to multipoint model
They had it working but the bean counters axed it because the $35 a month basic dish with dial tone, and 1
meg internet was cutting into their $1200 a month T-1 business.
[yep they owned the last mile (basically a system like
MOTOROLA CANOPY, which is considered the de facto best ISP
backbone system around. You might think Motorola canopy is
overpriced, but you can amortize one base station over 200
subscriber stations, which are real cheap in bundles. you look at the
development and tech support costs (read "great hi-tech jobs
for, um, i hope, americans of Motorola. They have had the same business
model forever, an example of a management keeping the bean counters
at bey. You know they are looking at all those scientist level
salaries as a quickie boost to the quarterlies..]
DLZ: who is it with a YAHOO enabled platform?
WGP: I don't know... whoever carries the Nokia 3650, I think.
Probably Verizon.
DLZ: its a handset feature?
WGP: Yahoo! Go Mobile is.
WGP: Works on PPCs, too, but that hasn't been released yet afaik.
DLZ: i was thinking about making a .mobi domain?
WGP: Bleh.
WGP: I hate the idea of .mobi.
DLZ: yeah... tho getting a CSS than can deliver selectively
is gonna be a must
WGP: I don't want to see some watered-down mobile site from my
phone. I want to see the real site.
WGP: I have the capability of doing so, let me exercise it. I
hate sites that react to my phones user agent and feed me a page
that's completely devoid of the information I wanted.
The World's Greatest Programmer dons his pointy hat with the
stars and moon on it, bows, & disappears into the muddy mist
with a distinct ploink sound.

The HD movie rant
A good camera original 35MM movie negative transferred at 8000 X
2000
(16 megapixels) will resolve grain from most stock.
Older movies come to HD by way of several optical or contact
printer
steps, with a loss of resolution at each step. In a worst case
scenario,
a theatrical release print is the only thing available, and in
addition to
gamma and contrast issues, usually is barely 2000 X 1000
resolution
(2 megapixels) because of losses.
A better transfer is available from a printer negative, or a
release
interpositive (a very low contrast positive print made from the
original camera negative, which was physically edited to put
together the
movie.)
Today's motion pictures are transferred directly from the
original camera negative
to a 4000 X 2000 (8 megapixel) digital file, and edited in
digital format.
Printer negatives are laser scanned from the final digital
version, and
digital
prints (hard drives with a TON of encryption layers) anre made
in 2000 X
1000
(called simply 2K in the industry) for movie theatres with
old-fashioned
digital projection, and 4000 X 2000 (4K) for theatres with the
latest
projectors.
It is interesting to note that 35MM prints prepared from laser
scanned
printer
negatives are so much sharper than pure optical prints that the
Hollywood Makeup
industry was caught unprepared for the change. Male actor's
eyeliner,
carefully
applied to give a nice realistic outline to the eye after the
resolution
losses
in analog edited film, started showing up on the screen.
Today, the studios are considering 6K and even 8K for
intermediates from
35 MM or even 65 MM camera negative. New HD cameras are coming
online with 4000 X resolutions. If you think this is impossible,
remember
that off the shelf under $1000 still cameras are producing 8, 10
and 12
megapixel images. To make a 4K movie camera merely requires using
the
same chips as the consumer cameras for resolution information, and
then, because they are too slow for 24 frame readout, adding via beam
splitter
a faster chip(s) to capture motion (action) data.
The high spatial resolution KEYFRAMES from the 8-meg
chip are combined with the lower pixel but high TEMPORAL
RESOLUTION
of the motion channel chips to produce a long-GOP MPEG2 data
stream.
This approach makes possible a low priced (anything under
$100,000 is low
priced in
the movie industry) SUPER HIGH DEFINITION camera.SONY
showed their 4K projector at the C-4 sports show. Most exciting:
NHK 3-D using circular polarization (totally passive) glasses.
Using circular polarization allows the viewer to tilt his
head without introducing crosstalk, which happens with LINEAR
POLARIZED 3-D GLASSES.
you can tell if glasses have circular polarization by looking
at a key or a coin, if the reflection is deep blue, its
circular, because the reflection of a corkscrew cannot fit the
original path, reflections are blocked. Most later CRT monitors
have an anti-reflective layer that uses a circular polarized
layer. Thats why you see a light bulb refelcted in blue on some
monitors.
Circular polarizer is manufactured by combining a linear
polarizer with a quarter-wave layer. Many people are not aware
that polarization is not a filtering process, but rather a
re-direction of the photons into a polarized form. you may prove
this to yourself by crossing two linear polarizers until you get
maximum cancellation. then introduce between them a shape cut
from polarizer, oriented about half way between the two outer
polarizers. Photons within a 45 degree window are redirected into polarized orbits,
which are 90 degrees out of phase with the
polarizer on the other side, but when they hit the middle polarizer, they are only
45 degrees off, and within the capture range of the iodine
molecules, which capture the photons, and swing them into orbits
that fit the capture window of the exit polarizer.
This is a great classroom demo.

Celebrity Photos.
Last Saturday the crowd outside PURE Nightclub in Caesars Palace
was the biggest i have ever seen. The "chick line," consisting
of extremely hot local girls with free passes, reached from the
ropes northward past the Sports Book. Maybe 300 in line.
Another 500 or so in the paid admission line, and, most
notably, an absolute mob scene at the VIP and table reservation
rope. At least a hundred real VIPs and excessively rich
nobodies (a table on the weekend costs at least $1000) vying for
attention.
Saturday nights are always an event at PURE, but this was
totally over the top. The reason: A bevy of celebs, including
Kevin Federline and Britney Spears.
I got in early, but the inside was already packed. Later, in
front of the celebrity stage/tables, adoring female fans taking
pictures of K-FED while he is taking pictures of me!!! Really.
Of course i am so lame i didn't even drag out the camera. I
will try to be a good boy and take more shots.
I DO have lots of new pics for the las vegas club
pages, my next editing project is to repair the lost pages from
the Spring server crash. I plan on a redesign of the club
section, getting rid of the scripted slide shows, and using the
gallery format.

New Galleries Rocky Point Mexico Road Trip
The trip began on the 28th of June, with a first leg to the
RetroRoamer Compound near Mount Graham in eastern Arizona.Friday morning i was watering the Cactus and flooded a hole in
the ground. This is what gently crawled out:
This was the first i had seen a Mexican Blood Leg emerge from her borrow, she had just molted, the cast off skin was
lying near her hole. I ran for the camera and got several shots
to share with you. After the water subsided, she returned to
her borrow, excavating the soil that had washed in.
Friday night we drove to Tucson, then arose early Saturday
from our AWFUL motel room (it was Motel 6) and drove to Rocky
Point.
The entire eight days are in the
new BikiniBreak.com galleries now.

It Was the Best of Tables, It was the Worst of Tables
The first time we ate at the WYNN RESORT, we were seated at
possibly the most beautiful table in the place, near the front
of the atrium.

On our most recent visit, we were at the extreme other end. At
first i thought my buffet karma had been destroyed by my guests
stealing the cute little dishes and other serving pieces from
our table, but i noticed the signature stoneware was no longer
in use at all, so i guess everyone else's dates stole cutlery
too, not a very good
commentary on the average Vegas Tourist. The hotels have
learned to remove logos from all small objects to reduce their
E-bay values.
Perhaps my banishment was the result of a bit of conversation
while waiting in line… A tourist had commented on my
"dapper" appearance, then made a snide remark about her "$1200
dress." I
had to laugh, because XMZ was wearing the infamous red dress from the
secret VIP section at KMART. ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha
ha ha ha ha ha ah ah a ha ha aha aha aha hah!
At this point, we were hustled away, and seated at the very
furthest table from the entrance.
It turned out, however, that this seat was the closest possible
seat to the KING CRAB LEGS, and XMZ was immediately transported
into a thrall of crustacean cracking consumption.
I took a tour of the offerings and was again impressed by the
beauty and high quality of the fresh fruit. Beautiful bing
cherries joined the medley of sweet flavor on my plate. The
swordfish was a feature of my main plate (got to get my MDR of
mercury.)

I recently dined at the Wynn
Buffet. I was very impressed with the food there. The
kingcrab legs were fantastic. And the desserts spectacular. It
was an extremely pleasant experience, and I would highly
recommend this buffet. A stroll around the Wynn casino and
shoppes after dinner seemed to alleviate the feeling of
fullness, from having overeaten at the buffet.

A Beautiful Century
Monday we saw the movie "Break-Up" at the ORLEANS
casino.
I swear scriptwriters follow us around and get story
ideas. It's about a couple separating and the problems of
dividing the property. Something like me and the former Mrs.
Zeke.
Century Theaters operates the cinemas at the Orleans, and
they win the award for great presentation.
From the moment you walk in and sit in the comfortable seats
and look at the decor of the auditorium, you get a feeling of
richness.
The projection (35mm film, not digital) was essentially
flawless. Not a scratch on the film, and a dust level
approaching zero. OK, yeah, i saw ONE DUST SPECK on the entire
film, not at all like the terrible presentation at the CROWN
THEATRES NEONOPOLIS, full of scratches and dust.
As for the movie itself... cute story, but, even though they
are rumored to be a couple in real life, Jennifer Aniston
and Vince Vaughn just don't have that chemistry on the screen. I simply didn't care
about them enough, and so i did not get involved with the film the
way i usually do.

Cutting a Rug
I am still adjusting to another person living in the house, but
i managed to get out dancing Saturday, Sunday, and also last
night.
Saturday was my usual LIGHT plus PURE. Then LIGHT and PURE
again Sunday and PURE Tuesday.
Sunday at pure there was a Disco Diva singing live along with
the DJ from the celebrity stage. I wish i could tell you her
name, but names are not my strong suit.
Besides, name-dropping is very tacky, at least that's what
her majesty told me.
Anyhoo... there I was, dancing away, thoroughly engrossed in
the lovely ladies on the dance floor, and everyone starts
pointing to the stage...
Really fun to dance to a live singer, but i think it might
bother them a bit that i am stealing the attention from
them!
And a little gripe... I have a few haters, but i seem to have
the most damage from people that LOVE me. Strange. Three cases
in point: 1. outside Light, a fan came up and gave me a high
five that was so hard my hand hurt for 5 minutes. 2. A beautiful
lady wrapped her arm around my neck in a throttle hold and
dragged me to her booth. 3. And a pair of lovely VIPs danced
with me, dragging my arms across the sharp top of the plexiglass
(perspex for you brits) (methylmethacrylate for you chemists)
rail of the celebrity stage at PURE. Hey i love you all, and i
love the attention, but please remember i am not a 25 year old
football star, be gentle with me. Thanks.

17 years, the chocolate anniversary.
Although we have been divorced two years, xMrs. zeke and your
humble servant dined at the always fantastic BELLAGIO BUFFET. on
our anniversary, last night.
i tried the BUFFALO. It was interesting to eat, not fatty,
yet still very tender to cut and chew. The most exciting new
taste, shrimp and pasta with a pesto sauce (no tomatoes at all.)
After completely stuffing ourselves with tiny portions of
many gourmet items, we overstuffed ourselves on the amazing
array of desserts. While other buffets try to impress you with
huge portions, the Bellagio Buffet invites you to try several by
setting out small portions. We dined very early, and perhaps
that is why we saw so many varied dessert treats. Some of the
rarer must vanish by the main seatings later in the evening.
Finally, floating on a sugar-induced fog, we waddled out to
the atrium to see the summer show. It turned out the crew was
putting the finishing touches on a brand new summer show in the
atrium. Apparently, the artist that designed the display is
well-known for his work in top venues on the east coast, It was
unlike anything i have ever seen in vegas. Banyan trees and
electric trains. Wow.
Then a stroll (ok we were still waddling, but it was a sweet
hand in hand waddle) down the new hallways. The new floors are
all-marble, with a new grey and white marble with tiny streaks
of pink in them. It must have been formed in the 50's, when pink
and gray was the fashion. One of the most beautiful marbles i
have ever seen.
And the new must-see for Vegas sightseers, the WORLD'S
LARGEST CHOCOLATE FOUNTAIN. a 14 ft flow of three colors of real
dipping chocolate. Tonnage. Jean-Philippe Patisserie bet the
ranch on this one. When my chocolate
dipping friend from Bisbee comes to vegas, this will be on
our agenda.
Later, i went back out to PURE in Caesars Palace. i was VERY,
VERY early, and it was barely 1PM when i left.
I had the ENTIRE dance floor to myself... And the
attention of the DJ... so i got to show off my stuff. thenm into
the PUSSYCAT DOLLS show (oooh! la. la!) and the patio.
This is thae kind of weather that makes the patio at pure
such a great venue, and Frank Was pumping on all cylinders.
Wen i left, like i said, about 1 AM, there were still about
300 ppl in the lobby waiting to get in. I have never seen such a
crowded tuesday there.

Broken by the CROWN
Tonight, instead of going dancing, i made the mistake of seeing
"The DaVinci Code" at the NEONOPOLIS theatre.
Oh, the movie was ok, but the stupid cleanup crew was
clanking and scratching during the closing credits.
The even walked in front of me, blocking my view of the
screen. When i said i should get a ticket to see the show again,
the guy (it turned out he was some kind of manager.) Laughed in
my face and said something about what a fool i was. An
apology would have been sufficient, but he chose to escalate,
and i took my complaint to the front desk, where it continued to
escalate until i was thrown to the cement floor, handcuffed, and
sat on by some big black guard (boor guy thought he was just
doing his job, i guess.) I am not sure what happened after that,
i remember i could not get my breath.
I remember being in an elevator with some crying kids... poor
little suckers are probably scarred for life.
Me, i escaped the incident with a few cuts and bruises... Its
a little hard to breathe, but i don't think any bones were
broken.
So, congratulations CROWN THEATRES, i hope you had fun
beating up an old man just to prove you have the right to ruin a
movie for someone and not even apologize.
This is not the first time this has happened at the exact
same theatre, except in the previous occasion, the manager
agreed to stop treating audiences so badly. Cleaning was
never started till the credit roll was ended, or there was noone
in the auditorium. But i guess the greedy corporate bean
counters got back into the act, and they started scheduling
movies with no turnaround time between showings.
So, here i sit, wishing i was in the emergency room being
treated for my little scratches and bumps, while i spill my guts
out to you, dear readers.
Oh well, the wheel of Karma will turn. Is it worth getting a
lawyer to guide it?

Can't pop Cherries
Sunday i went to see the movie UNITED 63 at the brand new
theatres in the recently-opened Red Rock Resort here in Las
Vegas.
After the movie, we took a stroll around the casino, and came
across CHERRIES a new nightclub. I would like to report on the
beautiful interior design of the club, but, sadly, i couldn't
even get past the gate. What a blow to my ego... i have been so
swell headed because of the spectacular treatment i get at the
clubs on Las Vegas Boulevard. Apparently my status as a DISCO
LEGEND only extends a few feet off the strip.
Well the club is 12+ miles distant from my house, a round
trip of 25 miles or one gallon of gas. So it's not likely to
become a regular stop on my dancing excursions. I will say that
its located poolside, with indoor and outdoor dancing spaces,
what i saw was beautifully designed.
We all need to get humbled occasionally.
Tuesday night is PURE locals night, and i was luck enough to
get there in time for the second PUSSYCAT DOLLS review. the
dolls are a great crowd pleaser, i was surprised to see the
girls in the audience were enjoying the dance routines as much
as the guys.

Server Hosing
Ugh, lost time and disappointed surfers. The new machine hosting
BikiniBreak.com and other primary websites had some kind of hard
drive event, resulting of loss of many important functions.
My data center installed a new hard drive with a fresh copy
of the OS, and mounted the old hard drive as D drive, so moving
the files over and restarting went fairly fast.
According to ALEXA,
websites i host on the new server are faster than 83% of all
websites on Earth. I am glad to see it back on the air.
Last night helped a friend get the little stairway on
his motorhome to slide up and down again. someone had misdiagnosed the problem as a bad controller box,
($250) but the problem
turned out to be that the DC motor that winds it up and down had
frozen. The rear bearing had completely dried out, we stuffed a
little grease in there, and reassembled the motor. Bingo.

Paris Party Pandemonium
last night was the paris hilton bash at LIGHT.
Paris appeared on the pole at the corner of her booth (s, she
took over the entire southeast corner of the dance floor) early
on, and danced for an adoring throng of fans, there must have
been 100
cell phones in the air everytime she appeared.
She was wearing the AMAZING silky emerald green dress. Not
the slinky body tight dresses you commonly see in discos, but
this shimmery gem that looked like a single sheet had
landed on her shoulder and magically draped itself over her
body.
Straight lines in a dress help us compare and appreciate the
curves of the wearer. In dancing, i am the fram, the woman is
the picture... This same philosophy applies to couture, the best
dress is the one that frames the wearer.
Solar BioFuel Yields
I just found out that palm oil has the highest fuel-per-acre
solar recovery rate. 408 gallons per acre. Since palms can grow
in salt water, there is unlimited potential, especially in
oceanic communities.
Unlike most oil plants and ethanol sources, palm oils compete
marginally with food market, since palm oils are especially
hurtful to the human body.

Another day Everyday
Let God See You Through The Eyes of a Bird
I danced for a mockingbird today. The rich biological habitat in
the backyard has begun to produce protein rewards, last week i
saw sparrows perching in the broccoli, scooping up beakfulls of
aphids from the clumps.
The mockingbird is finding larger treats, i am not sure
which.

Sex With Paris Hilton.
I ended my clubbing marathon. After seven nights in a row i took
a night off. I wonder what the record is. Even god only does stuff
for 40 days at a time.
In the afternoon, i visited a FRY's electronics megastore, a
friend didn't know there was a porno section in the DVD
department so i guided him into it, and we spent about a half
hour pawing through the titles.
The packaging for the adult materials at FRY's does not have
any explicit pictures on the cover, so even if someone mis-filed
a movie in the general areas, or abandoned it on the
connector aisle next to all those horny male RJ-45s, the danger
of exposing underage humans is reduced.
So, anyhoo, looking at the
covers, i came across a DVD of the Paris Hilton Sex tapes. And
after long deliberation (i think it was 8 seconds) decided to
buy it.
It was about 4:20 when i left the store, and my house is 6
miles removed. 6 miles of vegas rush hour traffic. I traveled by
way of the strip (locals always avoid the strip, so the traffic
was relatively normal,) but it still took over an hour to get
home. An hour of anticipation... Hot little paris sitting on the
passenger seat next to me, all dressed up in the FRY's bag. Like
the BEATLES song Polethene Pam.
As soon as i got home, i had her out of her outer wrap, and
gazed at her body, covered now only by the see-through shrink
wrap. I fumbled around several minutes, trying to get my fingers
under the thin plastic film. At last i managed to slide one
finger underneath, and the top peeled of quickly, but it
required time, finesse, and (i must admit) a little sweet talk
before the bottom finally came off and i could spread open her
package.
I slid my fingers around her and pried and teased until I
popped her off the little protrusion inside the DVD case, then
stuck my own finger in the now unfilled tiny hole and carried
her to the DVD player, placing her gently on the loading tray.

Tangerine - easy to Peel
Last night i parked at TREASURE ISLAND and visited MIST
and TANGERINE.
Although i had briefly stopped at the two clubs a year or so
ago, i never really spent time in either.
First, mist a really good DJ... a local radio jock! nice
danceable lounge groove, then to TANGERINE!
Tangerine is a smaller club, and is the most popular
Wednesday night venue on the center strip. The feature is a live
trio playing music for a Burlesque dancer. (tangerine, peel,
stripper... you get it!)
The VIP areas were packed, and moving around on the dance
floor could be a challenge at times.

Pure Pussycat Dolls.
Tuesday night I had the great pleasure of again seeing the PUSSYCAT DOLLS
performance. I arrived early and danced to the music drifting
out into the sports book from the Pussycat Dolls Lounge.
I was summoned into the purpose built venue just as the show
started. If you are a visually oriented heterosexual male, you
will never forgive yourself if you come to vegas, and don't see
the show.
After the show i traveled the remainder of the huge PURE
venue. Energizing ultramodern dance upstairs... Bubbly humpa-bounce
in the main room.
Special thanks and love to the lovely ladies that graced my sightlines
and caressed my fingertips.

Jetting it on.
Monday night arrived very early at MIRAGE valet. Said hello to
one of the beautiful ladies at STAX (ok, the light group loves
one syllable names) and spent some time looking at the fantastic
interior. The warm, soaring curved walls must be seen in person
to be appreciated.
Since it was an hour till LIGHT opened, i ventured across the
street to harrahs CARNIVAL COURT. Although this outdoor
venue has been a starting point a millions of parties on the
strip, and a frequent opening for my evenings of dancing, As the
Las Vegas Nightclub Scene evolved,i started going out later and
later.
The new ownership at harrahs re-vamped the stage lighting and
replaced the uneven, sloping floor with a nice new flat sloping
floor. Its an outdoor venue, after all.
The live band started their set just as i walked in. Same
top-notch sound system, i hear the band nice and clean from my
car when i am driving south on the strip.
When i travelled across the street back to the mirage, an
entire family of tourists was almost mowed down by full speed
traffic going north on Las Vegas Boulevard, the light is unbearably
long for most pedestrians, and there is always a long gap in
traffic before the wall of steel arrives.
Anybody that thinks pedestrian bridges are waste of money
would have changed their position had they been forced to
witness last night's near miss.
Jet is the primo Monday Night destination on the strip. This
was my first Monday visit, and even going in early found the
party was going full tilt boogie.

Let There be LIGHT
For a man that loves women, LIGHT nightclub in the BELLAGIO is
simply heaven.
I have GOT to get some cards printed with my website address.
I gave out several with ANYHOO.COM scribbled in ink on the back
of my "secret identity" business cards.
I has occurred to me that there must be more performers/entertainers
employed in Las Vegas than in just about any other city.
(probably more ELVII also.)

Jessica Alba
Although i have been to PURE Nightclub in Caesars Palace many
times, until last night, I never really had the pleasure of
seeing the Pussycat Dolls perform in their special venue
therein.
The Las Vegas Pussycat Dolls are a spin-off from the LA show
of the same name. It's an all girl singing and dancing troupe
with beautiful voices, beautiful bodies, and great dancing.
The special guest star was Jessica Alba, and she is even more
lovely in person than her photos.
Of course i was dancing right along with them, looking at
beautiful ladies is not a substitute for dancing, it is an
enhancement.
The Hawaiian Tropic Beauty contest folks had a couple booths
roped off, and invited me to dance with the contestants.
I just think women are so wonderfully designed. I had a
fantastic time in PURE, then walked over to BOUNCE the special
thursday event at LIGHT in the bellagio. More great music and
beautiful women.
Meanwhile i am so broke that i had to tip the valet with an
I.O.U.

Garden Report.
This winter i grew a small crop of F2 Broccoli. The seeds were collected last spring, and planted in a seed
patch at the south end of the garden. In October, i dug and set a dozen plants in the garden, and gave
18-inch high transplants to friends and family.
The broccoli produced several pounds of beautiful, tasty,
broccoli buds and a beautiful second crop of LADYBUGS. A fat,
powdery grey aphid follows the wild mustard, also called
PEPPERWEED in the southwest, which is the ancestor of all the
cole crops; turnips, collards, cabbage, kale, etc. A population
of seven spotted ladybugs follows these aphids, and most of the
late broccoli plants were allowed to become ladybug food by way
of this intermediary.
Aphids are VERY easy to control in the small garden, my
selection for next year's broccoli seed was kept relatively free
of aphids by washing with hose water and hands. The plant had
the most perfectly formed flower head i have ever seen, and i
hope to select that trait into my main strain.
Gene Sharing
I like to imagine that i am seeing a few food traits such as slow bolting
and thick stems appear in the wild mustard plants. Plants share genes much more
easily than animals, because useful (or sometimes dangerous) DNA fragments that
arrive via pollen can be incorporated in the seed of completely differing species.
My goal is to incorporate some of the wild mustard traits
back into the broccoli and improve the vigor of this critically
important human food and vitamin source.
As they say, humans are solar powered. Farmers have practiced
solar energy collection since the dawn of agriculture.
I have a few Tomato plants set out. I set out the first wave
a day or two before a killing frost (the local TV stations do
not consider FROST to be weather, but actually it was my own
laziness that killed several of the plants. New plants have been
set out, and hopefully ill be able to eat my own tomatoes this
summer. Or, i should say, spring. For most gardeners, the secret
of a tomato crop is to get the plants very early. It is
certainly to get tomatoes in the main heat of the summer, but
the amount of required attention becomes too high.
I have a few short internode indeterminate tomatoes on
hanging baskets, i think, with automated watering, basket grown
tomato vines can provide shade, cooling, and food to
humans. If you only grow one food plant this year, buy a
6- pack of tomato plants and set them out anywhere you have
sunlight.

Monday Night at JET
Had to escort visiting dignitaries Monday night. First dinner at
the Bellagio Buffet, then the the Mirage, and the JET nightclub.
I had a chance to see some very nice stuff on the video
ceiling in the main room. If you are in vegas, JET
nightclub is a MUST see... be sure to book your table in
advance, they are packed every night they are open.

Solid Dance Weekend
I concentrated on LIGHT and Drai's, arriving fairly late at
LIGHT, then crossing the south bridge and getting a great moving
shot of the AMAZING display of petunias provided by bally's along
Las Vegas Boulevard. Propers to the Las Vegas horticultural
workers that designed and set it out, GREAT JOB!
In the process of an emergency move to a new server, the
newer vegas material has been trashed... the original photos are
still here, but the structure was chomped.
These were javascript slideshows, and, frankly i think
automatic slide shows are not bandwidth friendly. The philosophy
of my websites is to deliver a superior viewing experience by
presenting GALLERY pages, not THUMBNAILS.
Even though each page can be several megs, the amount of time
spent by the visitor scrolling through the gallery can result in
less bandwidth than the set it and forget it slideshow, filling
the screen with beautiful, high resolution images while the
visitor nukes a little load of bread and spreads peanut butter
and orange marmalade on it three rooms away.

Back to LIGHT
Saturday and Sunday i visited my favorite disco, LIGHT in the bellagio.
Although their new club, JET, in the MIRAGE is great, i still prefer the
flagship club from the light group, LIGHT. I just prefer the
smaller venues. And, it seems, the girls are hotter... a very important aspect
of any club.

November 8, 2005 Saturday Gravity and mass have to do with photons "dragging" behind time. photons, having no harmonics, attach to time, and travel with it at C. As soon as the path
taken by the constituent photons of MATTER has harmonic components, it can no longer attach to Time, and instead, tangles up, distorting time in such a way that objects are pulled together.... think of pulling at the strings of your shoes and making them tighter.
Now take that picture and add lots more strings in several dimensions.
Although it looks like a knot, every photon is following very specific,
yet probalistic paths.
So, since matter is made of photons, the mass of the matter should be equal to the weight of the photons of which it is
composed.
Now, E = M * V^2 so to accelerate a car to 20 MPH takes 4 times the
energy as accelerating to 10 MPH. But, if, instead of adding energy by
pushing a mass with some force, we released the photons, the photons taken
all together would still have the same mass as before, but, being photons,
they can only possibly travel at one speed. So we can substitute C for V in the equation.
So E = M * C ^2 is not a new equation at all, merely an aknowledgement
that matter is composed of photons.
