HOW TO READ AND SEND MAIL BY SSH (secure socket)
FIRST TIME:
AFTER INSTALLATION AND SETUP:
The PINE program will not leave a copy of your mail on the computer you are using. You must use the d (delete) command to get rid of unwanted mail. When you press Q to quit, pine will offer to expunge the messages you have marked. When you get back to your home machine the mail that you did not delete will download as usual, even though you already read it with pine.
COMMON PINE COMMANDS:
